IT’S SHOW TIME!!! Are You Ready?!! ‘Cause We Are! ๐Ÿ”ฎ โฐ โณ

Hello everyone,

We are so excited to announce that we have all the title submissions in and ready for voting!

Once again, thank you all so much for reading Post a Book and helping us out by “following,” “liking,” “reblogging,” and spreading good words about us. Thank you also for those of you who participated in title suggestions. All the titles we’ve received sound totally, truly, really, amazingly, fantastically fabulous!

Speaking of which, here are the awesome titles for Week #8… *Drums Roll*

  • Tales, Twists, and Tattletales
  • Mark and the Stolen Heirloom
  • Markโ€™s Adventures into the Dark Woods
Thank you so much, ReDiscover at 40, for reading our book and, as always, thank you so much for all your help! It truly means so much to receive such wonderful feedback from readers like you and we couldn’t be more grateful. ๐Ÿ™‚ Also, thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement. We are so happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed reading our collaborated work. Yes, we’ve worked so hard on this joint effort (imagine all the conflicting views and ideas we had to overcome *laughs*) and we must have revised this book so many times that we’ve lost count! So, all of us are just so excited and honored that we get to share those beautiful comments. Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚
As for the vocabulary part, thank you so very much for noticing it! We tried our very best to incorporate vocabularies into the story by going through the entire thesaurus book, just so we can impress readers like you. Our hard work finally paid off! ๐Ÿ™‚
Additionally, here’s a little secret I, Teacup, decide to reveal today:

I am not the illustrator on Post a Book ๐Ÿ˜‰ *laughs* But that’s all I will ever say! So we are lucky to have our illustrator on the team, who tookย  on the challenge of using a simple old version of Microsoft Paint software program to paint those images on a cheap, old laptop. As a result, it is not uncommon to see him/her with a forefinger that got stiff and sore, but I’m glad we did it — we’ve completed the book on time! I am personally amazed and impressed with his/her quality of artwork and couldn’t be more proud to see how well the images have turned out. ๐Ÿ™‚
We also like to thank Mark and the kids for being such great kids. We are grateful that they were always on their best behaviors, doing what they were supposed to do (yes, even John) and that they didn’t give us any hard time (you know the type we are talking about: characters who argue with the writer even as they are being drafted into the story plot and/or dialogues, etc.). ๐Ÿ™‚ Without them, the book wouldn’t have worked out and we’d still be revising the book. ๐Ÿ˜€
Last but most importantly, thank you so much ReDiscover at 40 for the fabulous and creative title suggestions! All of them sound so amazingly good! ๐Ÿ™‚ And thank you for the warm wishes! ๐Ÿ™‚ We are hoping to get this book published too and work on the sequel(s)! Cheers and have a wonderful weekend! ๐Ÿ™‚

Many thanks to the following lovely reader for the wonderful comments and help:

Thank you so much, Gpicks, for checking us out and showing your support by spreading some love and wonderful words about Post a Book! ๐Ÿ™‚ No words other than “we appreciate you so very much!” could truly express how grateful and lucky we are to have wonderful readers like you.

In fact, *Lowers the voice* Mark told us not to say this, but he was so excited that he did an impromptu disco dance when he saw your post. Off-camera, of course! ๐Ÿ™‚ What happened next was even harder to describe, because George soon joined Mark on the imaginary dance floor and twirled him around. (Hard to imagine all this, we know. *Laughs*) Andrew, of course, just tipped his cowboy hat while Diane looked on with a slight smile on her lips. Logan, as he was often in good spirits, drummed his knuckles on the desk good-naturedly to provide some beats, while Becky and Jennifer laughed until tears were running down their faces.

*Gasps and whispers* OK, Mark and his friends just arrived on the scene. Promise you won’t tell them what we just said? Please? Thank y’all so much, you’ve been good sports andย  —

(Mark’s voice approaching) “Hey, what are you guys whispering about? And did I just hear my name?”

*Coughs nervously* Well, yeah… Working on the regular speech draft and stuff… You know, to thank the lovely readers!

“Oh, great! Thanks a lot! Guess we’ll let you get back to your stuff!” (Mark’s voice growing smaller into the distance) “See you later!”

Whew! *Laughs and wipes the sweat off our foreheads* That was close, folks!ย  We’d better get onto the next important part of this post! ๐Ÿ˜€

Although some of you may have been busy and may be feeling disappointed that you didn’t get a chance to participate in the title submissions, here’s another chance you can still help us out, which we are also very grateful for, of course! It takes less than a minute. All you are required to do is to click on the image of the book below that will lead you to another page to vote anonymously.

For those of you who are still reading the story, you still got time! The voting post will remain open for 8 days while you catch up on your reading.

Meanwhile, anyone who finished reading the story is welcome to get started on voting and help us out! (Including some of you who may not have a WordPress account but want to help us out and contribute in some way. ๐Ÿ™‚ ) Thank you all!

Like what we’ve said, we will keep the voting page open for 8 days and your contribution will be greatly appreciated and acknowledged ๐Ÿ˜‰ So please stay tuned for more announcements! Thank you so much, everyone! Hope you all have fun and have a wonderful day!

  1. Thank you for your kind words teacup. And yes, your illustrator did an amazing job. The pictures added interest to the book and since it was broken down into small chapters, it was easy to digest and not boring. Overall, you guys did a great job.
